@silverfox Oh yeah, I stopped using Wordpress a few years ago, and went to a static site I built with getpublii.com, which I think (ironically) uses Hugo on the backend. I have a blog link to here, in the menu.

@silverfox There are alternatives, but it does require a bit of a change of approach from your current setup. Decoupling image hosting / storage from web hosting is going to give you many more options.
@jean Hello! Film, and digital here. flickr.com/photos/he... since 2004, and trying out Glass, but might not get past the first two weeks.
@jack I’ve used google drive (not photos) for this in the past, and it’s worked well. Upload folder, set share to anyone with link. Visitors will get a gallery, and can download individual files, or all in a zip file.
@jack I've been on since 2004 as well, it's still the best for all the reasons you mentioned. Just created a Glass account, while it's much more polished, it seems to skew pro photographer, which is less fun than Flickr having a much broader audience.
@jack (cough) Vim (cough)
@jack The 10L Wotancraft Pilot is just the right fit for me. Before, I always seemed to need just a bit more space than I had, but with the Pilot it feels like there’s always just enough.
@silverfox That’s in my read soon pile!
@jack Ha :) Every time I decide to travel light, I always end up with at least two camera bodies, and an extra lens for each.
@BenSouthwood I got through a lot of podcasts those three days :) Also, continuously up and down a ladder over a full day was a workout in itself.
@BenSouthwood You can totally do it yourself. It takes time, and the more fiddly corners, and trim, the longer it will be. Take the time to prep in advance, with taping, and you're going to have a better time at it. Painted our dining room, and it was just over 7 hours for two coats, excluding the drying time in the middle. The living room, was two days. 'Getting a proper person' in would have been over $1000 for just those two rooms.
@jack Yeah, when Sino Promise shut down, that ended all Kodak chem production, I’m pretty sure. I moved to Caffenol a while ago, so am not too worried :)
@jack Nice! What are you going to replace Kodak chem with, after whatever is left on the shelves is gone?
@jean @hollyhoneychurch Oh yeah! That should have made my list too. Saw it for the first time a few years ago. The director's cut on Criterion. So good.
@hollyhoneychurch Rouge is my favourite of the three, but I think it’s time for a trilogy rewatch :) Prospero’s Books might be difficult to track down in an unmangled format, but it is stunning.
@hollyhoneychurch Off the top of my head: - Irma Vep - Waiting for Guffman - Three Colours: Red - Prospero's Books - The Double Life of Veronique
@jtr we found a litter made from walnut shells. It’s the best a minimizing odour, and it’s not so fine that it gets tracked around the house. And a bonus for it being upcycled material.
@BenSouthwood Yeah! I’ve been slowly reintroducing yoga into my day, and it’s been great.
@maique @cliffordbeshers @jean @Miraz Love the idea of a photowalk setting :)
Forgive the newb attempt at linking my post :|
@BenSouthwood I have a case on my m2 mbp, and that's where I've started my stickerage :)
@cleverdevil If you can go up to 30L, you can probably find a first gen Shimoda Explore at a really good price (V2 just came out). Mine just arrived on Friday, and it's a solid bag, with really flexible storage options.
@jean Thanks!
